SOUTH MANHEIM TOWNSHIP

 

Be notified that the South Manheim Township Zoning Hearing Board will convene hearings, and/or render decisions, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the South Manheim Township Municipal Building at 3089 Fair Road, Auburn, PA 17922, on two Applications to the Zoning Hearing Board.  One Application was filed by Gregory M. and Cynthia M. Mensch and relates to the property at 129 Aspen Drive, Auburn, PA 17922 (tax parcel number 28-05-0072.026), located in the Rural (R) Zoning District.  This Application seeks a variance to Section 440 of the South Manheim Township Zoning Ordinance, specifically to the Side Yard setback (30’ one side, 60’ total) for the construction of a garage (accessory structure).   The other Application was filed by Ronald A. Smith and Lisa A. Doll and relates to the property at 988 Bear Creek Road, Auburn, PA 17922 (tax parcel number 28-10-0003.003), located in the Conservation (C) Zoning District.  This Application seeks a variance to Section 240 of the South Manheim Township Zoning Ordinance, specifically to the 50’ setback line for the construction and/or placement of a pole building (accessory structure).
